Documents and artefacts
Create, review and maintain reusable business outputs.
Overview
Neocortex work may produce documents, diagrams, plans, code, images and other business artefacts. Treat each output as something to validate, version and hand over—not merely as chat text.
Start from a purpose
Identify audience, decision or action required, source material, format and acceptance criteria.
Use approved templates
Apply organisational branding and relevant team standards; keep reusable templates separate from client-specific content.
Keep evidence attached
Where possible, link the output to its source requirements, review comments, decisions and version history.
Review before release
Check factual accuracy, completeness, accessibility, formatting, permissions and whether confidential content is present.
Publish deliberately
Confirm destination, audience and ownership before sharing or exporting an artefact.
Worked example
A controlled document hand-off
A generated report is not ready to share until its content, access and destination have been checked.
- 1Confirm the audience, intended decision and acceptance criteria.
- 2Trace important statements to approved source material where possible.
- 3Check completeness, readability, accessibility and confidential information.
- 4Obtain the required review or approval and preserve the accepted version.
- 5Confirm the destination and recipient permissions before publishing.
